Hannah’s House, Incorporated is a non-profit 501 ( c ) 3 organization committed to empowering and equipping survivors of human trafficking, sexual abuse and domestic violence with employment stability and economic independence.
We offer free housing, education, therapy, and vocational training. Upon completion of the 2 year residential program, the women will be equipped with employable skills.
Founded in 2003 , Hannah's House Inc. has provided crisis response, treatment, advocacy, and outreach support services to women. Programming such as Hannah's Victims No More (HAVNOM) and Girls Talk Book Reading Club has been provided to ensure healing as well as emotional and psychological growth. Additionally, Hannah's House provides opportunities for participates to regain a sense of safety and develop the necessary tools to process the injuries sustained from years of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.
Hannah's House provides survivors with a safe environment which promotes holistic healing and the courage to address the systemic evil of modern day slavery. With the support of our partners, social service organizations, advocates, sponsors and volunteers, Hannah's House has engaged the community in the care of the survivor.
While focused on survivors' healing and continued health, Hannah's House continues to work to eradicate human trafficking, sexual abuse, and domestic violence which plague our society.
Dr. Lois Y. Lawson-Briddell, Ph.D., M.S.W., L.S.W. is the Founder, President/CEO of Paradigm Shift, LLC. Paradigm Shift is a consulting agency addressing critical issues in education, law enforcement, and physical/mental health. Dr. Lawson-Briddell is currently the Director, Counseling and Wellness Services at Rowan College, Gloucester County. She is also a faculty member at Rowan College, Rowan University and Fairleigh Dickinson University.
The Honorable Lori A. Dumas has been serving in the First Judicial District since 2003. Judge Dumas has been assigned to preside over many specialized court programs, but the one she is most proud, is the human trafficking pilot program of the Philadelphia Family Court, which she has created to address the significant needs of children who have been commercially sexually exploited.
Roslyn M. Smith is an HR professional with over 20 years’ experience mostly in the defense industry. She is currently the Senior Director Human Resources with a global technology company. Her responsibilities include driving strategic planning and employee relations for domestic US and international sites. She also has extensive experience in employee relations and labor relations.
Mrs. Tracey Martin is a graduate of Drexel University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. However, her love for children is what made her switch gears and pursue a career in the educational field. She currently works as a substitute teacher, after completing 15 years as a full-time educator in the City of Camden.
Mrs. Martin’s most rewarding job was being a stay at home mom for 14 years! During that time, she was also instrumental in assisting her husband’s construction firm in the areas of marketing and editing business proposals.
As an Assistant Business Administrator for a large school district, Kelley oversees all Human Resource and Payroll operations while assisting in allocating and managing an eight-million dollar school budget.
Kelley's expertise is in money -management and creative funding. Previously, as Managing Partner at both The Atticus Fund and The Life Assurance Fund, Kelley solicited Pensions Boards for the funds to purchase life settlement policies for their investment portfolios . Kelley procured over twenty million dollars in a five year period, representing both funds.
